Build in 1972, Oceanage is an oceanfront tropical oasis of 18 two-story buildings that comprise 180 individual condominium units built in a colorful, Key West-style architecture.    

The lure of Oceanage is its casual, park-by-your-front-door lifestyle, and its enviable location nested within the Atlantic Ocean to the east, shimmering Lake Mayan to the west, Lago Mar Resort and Beach Club to the south, and a lush, green private park to the north. It’s like living on a private peninsula, with the only entrance and exit located on its south side.  

The easy lifestyle offers many comforts of a single residence, while avoiding the formality of high rise structures… no lobby, elevators or long corridors just to get home.   

Oceanage residents enjoy 800 feet of private beachfront, only steps from their front door. All units are two- or three- bedrooms with two full baths, and range from 1,264 to 1,273 square feet of space. Prices vary depending on location within the community, such as oceanfront, ocean view, interior garden view or lakefront view.  

The social hub of Oceanage is its oceanfront clubhouse located in the center of the complex. The clubhouse has a cozy social room with enviable beach views, a private gym and convenient, on-site management office. There’s also a relaxing heated swimming pool that has a perfect beach view from the many lounge chairs surrounding the oval pool.  

Adding to the tropical vibe at Oceanage is its18 dock slips on beautiful Lake Mayan. Boats docked at Oceanage need to clear low, fixed-bridges with an approximately 8-foot clearance at high tide. Once cleared, the waterways lead directly to the Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean beyond.   

There is a 24-hour manned guardhouse on the community’s south side, with every vehicle in and out of the properly vetted for the utmost safety of its residents.  

Oceanage allows owners to rent their units up to four times per year, with a minimum three month lease. There is no waiting period to do so after purchase. The community does not allow pets, unless it is a verifiable emotional support or service animal.
