La Coquina is a four story, intimate beachfront complex and one of the first buildings built on the beach in the Harbor Inlet Area. It features the “Old Florida” architecture and charm that visitors in years past have come to know and love.
The enormous five acre property is shared among only 31 units. The expanding sandy beachfront, more than 100 yards wide, is a great buffer for hurricane storm surge and privacy from beach walkers. It is ideally located between the famous Lago Mar Resort & Club to the north and the north jetty of Port Everglades to the south. There are just a few “sandy” steps to either of these destinations.
Each apartment in this four story building enjoys delightful cross ventilation along with their own private balcony overlooking the pristine beach and tropical, lush gardens. Other amenities include: beach cabanas, a private heated pool surrounded by a garden of orchids and a community club room with kitchen. There is a gated entrance and covered parking with additional storage for each unit.
A Co-op is a form of corporate ownership where the owners purchase shares in a corporation entitling them to their specific unit and access to all common areas. Because of this purchasers are required to pay cash for the units. There are no pets allowed. Owners may rent their apartment once per year, for a minimum of 2 months and maximum of 7 months.
